Roy L. Harmon’s career with Bank of Tennessee began in 1991, where he led the company as CEO and chairman of the board. During Harmon’s tenure, he oversaw the company’s expansion in to the Middle Tennessee and Knoxville markets.
BLOUNTVILLE — Leadership is changing on the NETWORKS Sullivan Partnership board of directors. NETWORKS celebrated outgoing Chairman Carolyn Ferrell at the organization’s June 12 board meeting. Ferrell has held leadership roles on the board for six years.
KINGSPORT —Twelve spanking-new townhomes now reside on former blighted property on Center Street. The nonprofit Eastern 8 Community Development Corp. and its partners on Monday held a ribbon-cutting for those townhomes, called Highland Place, which will go to low-income individuals.

A patio area is located in the front of the building facing Center Street where employees and customers can enjoy the atmosphere of downtown Kingsport. The building has an exercise area for employees and a community room to be used by various organizations for meetings.
JOHNSON CITY – Carter County Bank, a division of Bank of Tennessee, has established a scholarship endowment at East Tennessee State University that will benefit students who are graduates of Cloudland High School in Roan Mountain.
