ETSU Library to host sixth Table of Contents dinner

JOHNSON CITY – East Tennessee State University’s Sherrod Library will host its sixth annual Tables of Content dinner on Friday, March 29.

During this dinner, which will be held from 6-8 p.m. in room 311 of the Sherrod Library, ETSU faculty in a variety of academic disciplines will share their research and interests with tablemates in an informal setting.

There is no charge to attend, and a light dinner will be served. Tables have limited availability and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Each guest will need to register by Friday, March 22.

Faculty hosts whose tables still have spaces available and the topics they will discuss include:

* Fred Sauceman, University Relations/Department of Appalachian Studies/WETS-FM, and Jill Sauceman – “Chased by the Wolf: A Life with Lupus and the Kidney Transplant that Saved It,” based on their book by the same title;

* Drs. Matt Holtmeier and Chelsea Wessels, Department of Literature and Language – “Films from Around the World, and Where to Find Them.”

* Dr. Bill Duncan, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Administration – “Wines of Tuscany – Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano”;

* Dr. Michael Ramsey, Department of Sport, Exercise, Recreation and Kinesiology – “Using Evidence-Based Practices in Fitness, Sport, and Beyond”; and

* Dr. Kwangman Ko, Department of Counseling and Human Services – “Fatherhood in the 21st Century.”
